Blur will headline the closing ceremony at the Olympic Games in London on August 12. The BT London Live Closing Ceremony, taking place in Hyde Park, features a "Best of the British" lineup that also includes New Order and the Specials.
Is that really the Best of British lineup?
Can't be in New Orleans, at least you can watch what is going on.

According to Rolling Stone: The cast of Glee will not be touring this summer. The cast, which went out on the road with Glee Live! In Concert gigs all through the past two summers, will instead take a two-and-a-half month hiatus before performing at a one-off benefit concert for the Glee Give A Note charity at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Glee has not yet been renewed for a fourth season, so the decision not to tour may be related to the series' uncertain future. Ratings for the show have been solid in its third season and songs recorded for the show continue to do well in the iTunes store, so it is very likely that the show will return next year.
I haven't watched this show for a few years, to me it became the same old, same old. Jane Lynch's character is damn funny though.
Can't say I was ever into the music part of the show in the first place, and never understood who would waste their money to see them live in the first place.
Mars Inc. the company that makes Snickers and Twix have made the decision to stop selling products with over 250 calories by the end of next year.
According to Reuters
The new calorie limit target means fans of the 540-calorie king-size Snickers bar might want to enjoy the big bar while they can. Come 2014, it's going to be gone, part of what Mars says is a broader push for responsible snacking.
In 2007, the privately held company said it would stop buying advertising time or space if more than a quarter of the audience was likely to be under 12 years old.
No more King sized Snickers, what the hell, worse yet no more of these great Snicker King sized commercials from overseas.
What that part might not be so bad

According to an interview with MTV Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill says the band has patched things up, bought a new studio, and will be working on a new album soon.
Quotes from the interview this one about patching things up: "Over the holidays, [you] break some bread, have some turkey, everyone makes up. I don't think it was as big as people thought it was, but the press machine takes it and runs with it."
Another about the new studio and album: We're going to spend the next few months getting that up and running; kind of make it our little clubhouse to get there and just kind of goof off whenever we want to. But, I'd say within the next six months, we'll probably start kicking some stuff around.
With all of the drama from these guys last year, do you believe everything is patched up?

Love this speech from Dave Grohl from last night. Reminds me I need to pickup that guitar that I haven't given much love to in the past month. Here is the video in case you missed it.
OK at the risk of being called a geek, which I am, I post this, Harry Potter in 60 seconds.

Roland Martin is a political commentator on CNN, he was suspended from that network this week for some of his tweets on Superbowl Sunday. Here are a couple of them:
If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham’s H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him! #superbowl
Ladies, if your man don’t like sports, send his azz back to the factory. He came to you defective! #rolandsrules
I’m sorry. I’m not down with seeing dudes walking around with bags on their shoulders that resemble women’s handbags. #helltothenaw
Who the hell was that New England Patriot they just showed in a head to toe pink suit? Oh, he needs a visit from #teamwhipdatass
The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) argued these were homophobic, CNN said "Roland Martin’s tweets were regrettable and offensive.". What do you think?

Alyssa has a unique talent, she can pronounce any word backwards in less than 3 seconds. Watch these people try to stump her. AMAZING!
