So GM wants to install 5,300 new electric vehicle chargers in Michigan. I haven't heard anything about where the electricity for these chargers would come from. Will we see an increase in solar panels, nuclear power plants, or coal plants?
For now Consumers Energy, DTE, and Lansing Board of Water and Light will work to also provide charging stations. GM is also selling home chargers at $1,475.
If charging an electric vehicle was available and convenient, would you buy a $41,000 all electric volt?
