Mark Post, a Dutch scientist, wants to creat hamburger meat with a cow's stem cells. If he pulls it off, he aims to rid the world of the entire meat-animal industry.

No way this kind of research could happen in the US. The meat industry has waaaaaaaaay too many lobbyists and purchasing power to allow it.

But if Mark is successful...this would change the entire scope of the meat industry regardless of what they want.
