When Listeners Creep Us Out

Posted by Span on

I've got dozens of stories of listeners saying things via our social media, emails, and phones that just made us go...what the f***?

We understand that this is gonna happen. Any time you put yourself out there amongst a potential listener pool near half a million you're gonna have some yayhoos workin' you over with the Crazy Brain Bar-B-Q Sauce.

I posted about Mark Foster of Foster The People going out with Taylor Swift. Mostly I crapped all over the relationship and predicted how it would play out in popular media.

I understand that this is a ploy for attention. I get that he (or she for all I know) just wants to have the voices in the radio talk with him. Interact with their crazy.

It's then up to us to decide whether we wanna give voice and eyeballs to these people. We fret over regulations, protocols, higher ups, law and common sense in deciding whether to lay this stuff out there for more attention, the very thing this person is desperate for.

But dayum. You had to see this one. Gooooood grief.
