(Reuters) - The Detroit Pistons, looking to improve under new coach Lawrence Frank, have re-signed leading scorer Rodney Stuckey, the National Basketball Association (NBA) team said on Saturday.
The terms of the contract were not released but local media said the deal was worth $25 million over three years for the free-agent guard.
Stuckey, 25, averaged 15.5 points and 5.2 assists in 70 games, 54 of them starts, last season.
"Rodney led our team in scoring and assists last season and he's part of the young core group of players that we are building around," Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars said in a statement.
