Prince Albert and his new wife, Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco, have filed a summons against L'Express magazine at a court in Paris, citing invasion of privacy and publishing of ""incorrect facts about their private life"".

In the build-up to their nuptials earlier this month (Jul11), reports suggested the bride had tried to flee Monaco three times, only to be stopped by the prince's aides.

Following their two lavish marriage ceremonies, the South African beauty spoke out in a bid to stop the gossip, insisting she is ""in love"" with Prince Albert and accused critics of trying to ""sabotage"" their union.

Prince Albert also called a press conference last week (21Jul11) to clear up another round of rift rumours, prompted after the couple spent a night in separate hotels during their honeymoon.
