KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- It was a long day for Kalamazoo City Commissioner Stephanie Bell as she attended court to watch her husband be sentenced to 9 to 15 years after he was convicted of carrying on a year long relationship with a special needs student, who sent, allegedly at his request, compromising photos of herself.  That’s why after the initial criminal sexual counts, several child pornography charges were added.  He claimed his innocence throughout the trial, claiming that nothing happened, just a lot of unsolicited e-mail.

Commissioner Bell says she has gotten through it all with the help of her faith, her family and her friends.
