DETROIT (WKZO) -- Detroit ranks as America's second saddest city, following St. Petersburg, Florida, according to Men's Health Magazine. The data used to determine the "frown towns" included suicide rates from the CDC, unemployment rates from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and antidepressant use from SimplyMap.
Rounding out the top five "Saddest" cities are Memphis, Tennessee at number three, followed by Tampa, Florida and Louisville, Kentucky. Honolulu, Hawaii topped the list of "Least Sad" towns, followed by Manchester, New Hampshire; Fargo, North Dakota; Omaha, Nebraska and Boston, Massachusetts.
