Welcome back to another week of Dancing With the Stars. We've now reached the halfway point in the competition, which means the judges are really starting to crack the whip on technicalities. Those lifts and hardly noticeable missteps that were once overlooked are no longer going to go unnoticed and that's reflected in each contestant's scores. From here on out, every step counts, which makes the competition fiercer than ever before.
As usual, this group of stars came out with their usual gusto and lit up the dance floor with a wide assortment of Rumbas, Viennese Waltzes, Cha-Cha, and Foxtrots in honor of the show's latest theme: Motown Night. And as an extra incentive, each couple had to compete in a Motown Marathon apart from their regular routines as a way to help earn valuable bonus points for their total scores. All eight couples took to the dance floor; the first couple tapped out received three points while the final pair left standing earned a whopping ten extra points.
