LANSING (WKZO) -- The attempt to repeal the Emergency Manager law in Michigan hit a stumbling block today when the State Board of Canvassers deadlocked on placing the issue on the ballot in November. The tie vote means the issue will likely be decided by the Michigan Court of Appeals or the Michigan Supreme Court.
It appears the problem with the petitions submitted centered on the size of the print. The group Stand Up for Democracy gathered over 203-thousand signatures and will likely appeal Thursday's ruling.
