LANSING, Mich (WLMI) Tuesday is a primary election day in Michigan. The winners at the ballot box tomorrow will go on to the finals in November. In some races, this is the finale if there is no candidate in the opposing party on the ballot. Voters have to decide whether they want to vote as a democrat or a republican, you can’t cross party lines, like you can in a general election. If you do it will void your ballot. There are a slew of races on the ballot—the biggest? Republicans will choose between Pete Hoekstra, Clark Durant or Randy Hekman—the winner will run against incumbent Senator Debbie Stabenow.
