Velvet Revolver is still on the hunt for a new lead singer.  Guitarist Slash says that while the band was planning to create new material with Ours frontman Jimmy Gnecco , they just couldn’t make it happen.

“Jimmy Gnecco is an amazing singer and we really wanted to work with him,” Slash tells The Aquarian Weekly .  “The unfortunate thing was that our schedules conflicted.  Whenever we wanted to fly him out to work with us, he was already engaged in something else, but Jimmy was without a doubt the type of singer we were looking for!”

Slash is currently out on a North American tour with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators in support of their recently-released album, Apocalyptic Love .
