LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy really loves coffee. While Murphy is out promoting his concert film Shut Up and Play the Hits , the singer told culinary website Grubstreet.com that he wants to create his own signature line of coffee. “I make a lot of coffee," said Murphy. "For my birthday, my girlfriend got me a training course with the world champion. That's what I'm going to do when I get back to London.”
Murphy added that he also wants to create a line of espresso as well. “[I’ll] just go to a roaster who lives near me and start tweaking beans and temperatures," noted the singer. “I have beans that I like. I like this sometimes and that sometimes. Sometimes in the middle." Murphy said that he couldn’t provide any information about where fans can get his new coffee line because he's “still in negotiations” with a distributor.
