BUNKER HILL TWP, Mich (WLMI) An early morning fire in Ingham County destroys a barn and kills a number of pigs. 6-NEWS reports the blaze began around 1-30 this morning on Ewers Road—that’s near Stockbridge. Crews had the fire under control in about a half-hour—nearly 20 pigs and a number of piglets were killed. Investigators believe a heating lamp used to keep the animals warm sparked the fire.
