LANSING (WHTC) - Two statewide polls show former U-S Senator Rick Santorum leading Mitt Romney in the Michigan Republican presidential primary. One poll from Public Policy Polling of 400 likely G-O-P voters shows Santorum leading Romney, whose father George was governor of Michigan in the 1960s, 39 percent to 24 percent. Meanwhile, another poll of 600 likely voters by American Research Group shows Santorum leading Romney 33 percent to 27 percent.
