On Tuesday, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong ’s announced via Twitter that the band is back in the studio working on a new album. The next day, Armstrong offered up some proof in the form of a brief behind-the-scenes video.

The 21-second clip, titled “ Green Day – 2/14/2012 Day One ,” shows the band in a recording studio in Oakland, CA, laying down tracks and working with their longtime producer, Rob Cavallo .
