GRASS LAKE TWP, Mich (WLMI)  Several racehorses are dead after a barn fire in Jackson County.  It began around 10-30 last night on Hayball Road in Grass Lake Township.  The barn was fully engulfed in flame when crews arrived—it took more than four hours to put out the fire.  Several horsed died in the fire—the barn is a total loss.  No word on what started the fire, but investigators DON’T believe it was suspicious.
