LANSING, Mich (WLMI) No relief from the heat—mid-Michigan is under an Excessive Heat Warning through Saturday morning.  Temps today will top 97-degrees with the heat index over 100.  Tomorrow—it could be 102 with a heat index over 110 degrees.  Brad Rippey with the U-S Department of Agriculture says the heat has also been tough on crops—topsoil moisture has dropped drastically and corn and soybean conditions are also starting to deteriorate.
