DETROIT (WKZO) -- General Motors posted an eleven-percent sales increase last month led by the Buick and GMC divisions of the company.  They each posted sales 19-percent higher compared to last year while Chevrolet sales rose by ten-percent.

Solid sales numbers for full-size pickup trucks continue to help GM's bottom line.  All pickup sales jumped by 23-percent in May while small car sales rose by 16-percent.
