LANSING, Mich (WLMI) The State Board of Canvassers officially removed U.S. Representative Thaddeus McCotter from the August 7th primary ballot. The ten-year Congressman had filed petitions with more than the required one-thousand signatures last month. However, officials found that only 244 of those signatures were valid. An investigation into the fraudulent petitions is being done by the Michigan Attorney General's office.
