LANSING, Mich (WLMI)  Welfare recipients will be tested for drug use under legislation that is now headed to the state Senate.  The House passed the bill with bipartisan support yesterday.  A positive drug test would prevent someone from receiving cash benefits for six months.  Medicaid, food assistance and housing assistance will not be affected by a positive drug test.
