LANSING, Mich (WLMI) We're paying more again for gasoline in Michigan. Prices around the state shot up to $3.89 yesterday, just hours after Triple-A Michigan put the average statewide at $3.73. The price at the pump is now more than 25 cents a gallon higher than at this time last week. GasBuddy.com says a drop in gasoline inventories in the Midwest along with refinery issues in Illinois and Kentucky are to blame.
