While fans wait patiently for Slipknot to record some new music, the band has announced that they’ll be releasing a greatest hits album to tide us over. Titled Antennas to Hell , the album will feature 19 career-spanning tracks and will include a new mix of “My Plague” as well as live versions of “The Heretic Anthem” and “Purity.”
In addition, a two-disc version of the album will come with a bonus live CD, (sic)nesses: Live at the Download Festival, 2009 . As the title suggests, the album documents the band’s 2009 appearance at the U.K.’s Download festival, which was one of the last major shows that late bassist Paul Gray played before his death of a drug overdose in 2010.
