Gotye , Coldplay and fun. are among the rock acts that have earned second wave nominations for next month’s Teen Choice Awards.

Gotye is up for two awards: Choice Breakout Artist and Choice Break-Up Song for his smash hit, “Somebody That I Used to Know.”  Coldplay will compete for Choice Group Summer Music Star, while fun. is a contender for Choice Breakout Group.

The Teen Choice Awards, featuring performers including No Doubt , will air live on Fox Sunday, July 22.  You can vote once a day, each day, per category at  TeenChoiceAwards.com until July 21, but you must be between the ages of 13 and 19 to cast your ballot.
