LANSING, MIch (WLMI) A court-ordered restraining order has delayed the opening of the new Lansing/Ingham 9-1-1 Center. County officials had hoped to open the new center yesterday—but, the Fraternal Order of Police filed a restraining order to prevent that from happening. The FOP claims dispatchers they represent weren’t properly trained on the new equipment which COULD put callers at-risk. The restraining order will remain in effect until July 27th—ALTHOUGH, a hearing on the issue will be held next week.
