LANSING, Mich (WLMI) A family pet is dead and two men now face felony charges for setting the heavy metal trap that killed it.  Animal Control officers in Lansing say the traps were set to catch skunks—but, a neighborhood dog named ‘Kye’ got caught in it instead. State Officials say it’s against the law to set the so-called ‘conibear’ traps out of season and on the ground.  The case will likely head to the prosecutor’s office.
