Alan Rickman has been wowing audiences as a crass novelist-turned-lecturer who helps four budding writers learn the tricks of the trade.

Jeff Goldblum will replace the Brit when the new cast takes over at New York's Golden Theatre on 3 April (12), and Long will play one of the wannabe writers.

The run is slated to last eight weeks.
