DETROIT (WKZO) -- Michigan Governor Rick Snyder says he wants to see the full context of a counterproposal of his consent agreement with the City of Detroit. Mayor Dave Bing and the city council are working on the plan and are slated to deliver the proposal on Thursday.
Bing and city council members roundly criticized the state's plan saying it took away power from city officials and gave it to a nine member advisory panel. Snyder says that the financial oversight committee is designed to help the city meet it's financial obligations.
