The Chris Robinson Brotherhood , the new band fronted by Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson, has scheduled an extensive series of U.S. tour dates that includes a lengthy run of summer shows. The group's itinerary kicks off Thursday at New Orleans' famous Tipitina's club and stretches all the way to an October 18 appearance at the Magnolia Festival in Live Oak, Florida.

The trek will support The Chris Robinson Brotherhood's debut album, Big Moon Ritual , which is due out June 5.  The band will celebrate the release with a performance of its new tune "Rosalee" that evening on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno .  The group also has plans to issue a companion record titled The Magic Door in September.
