DETROIT, Mich (WLMI) Ford Motor Company will idle 13-plants for just one week instead of the traditional two this summer. The new production plan will allow the automaker to produce 40-thousand vehicles more than originally projected. The change is in line with Ford's plan to increase annual production by 400-thousand units this year.
