CASS COUNTY (WKZO) -- Cass County Investigators may have to wait until test results come back on a 28-year-old from Bristol, Indiana before closing the case file on a crash that took his life.

Deputies arriving at the scene at about 3AM Sunday found the victim, Gregory A. Snyder, lying in the middle of the road, the wreckage of his car some distance away.

Deputies say it appears that the vehicle struck the guardrails along M-60 under the U.S. 12 overpass, and the impact threw the car to the other side of the road.

Snyder was alive when they found him, but died later at the hospital.
