LANSING, Mich (WLMI)  Open murder charges have been filed in connection with the death of two year old Brandon Kemp of Lansing.  The child’s mother, 20-year old Mercedes Kemp and her boyfriend—Marcus Hill—were arraigned yesterday on the murder charge.  They also face two counts of torture—one charge is connected to Kemp’s three-year old daughter.  Brandon Kemp died April 30^th after being taken to the hospital for breathing problems—family members say he died from internal injuries.  The mother and boyfriend remain jailed—without bond.
