IONIA, Mich (WLMI)  An investigation is under way into a deadly glider crash in Ionia County.  Sheriff's deputies say one person was killed when the aircraft went down into a patch of trees at the east end of the Ionia County Airport.  The crash took place during Glider Competition Week at the airport.  The pilot of a second glider that crashed on Jefferson Road walked away with no injuries.
