The Detroit Lions lost to Minnesota. The final was 34-24. Adrian Peterson rushed for 171 yards and a touchdown as the Vikings leveled the Lions, 34-24.  Calvin Johnson made 12 catches for 207 yards and a touchdown for Detroit, which fell to 4-and-5.  Matthew Stafford passed for 329 yards, three scores and an interception in defeat.  The Lions host Green Bay on Sunday.
