The rain this morning will give way to drier air today but it will be very windy. Gusts of up to 50 mile per hour. Those winds worry some that trees in soft soil could topple. Flood watches and warning remain in effect for a wide number of communities. Rivers and creeks will likely be cresting tomorrow, according to the national weather service.
