All of those GM bonuses for the rank and file will really add up. The Lansing State Journal reports this morning that the bonuses of up to $6,700 for thousand of eligible hourly workers will likely result in a nearly $32 million boost to the local mid-Michigan economy. There are just over 4,800 unionized workers at Lansing area GM facilities.
