Number-13 Michigan State hung on to beat Wisconsin 49-47 last night in Madison for its sixth straight win. Keith Appling led the Spartans with 19 points, while Branden Dawson contributed 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. MSU, 17-and-3 overall and 6-and-1 in the Big Ten, will visit Indiana on Sunday.
