Mumford & Sons ’ Ted Dwane is grateful for the support he’s received from fans following his recent emergency surgery to a remove a blood clot from his brain. On Monday, the bassist posted a note to thank fans for their get-well wishes, along with a photo of himself with a shaven head from the operation.
“Bear with a sore head!,” he writes on the group’s blog. “Thanks so much for all the well wishing, it seems to be working! I’m home.”
Mumford & Sons recently cancelled the reminder of the dates for their North American Summer Stampede Tour so Dwane can recuperate from his surgery. The group’s next scheduled performance is June 30 in the U.K. at Worthy Farm in Pilton.
