Jimmy Howard earned his second shutout of the season as the Red Wing beat the Edmonton Oilers 3-0 last night at Joe Louis Arena. Howard turned aside all 22 shots he faced, and Jakub Kindl, Cory Emmerton and Justin Abdelkader scored for Detroit. The Wings are on the road tomorrow to skate against the Blue Jackets in Columbus.
