Today the Lansing City Council plans a meeting open to the public in consideration of a tax break for Niowave, which could be worth about a half million dollars over the next six years. Neighbors of the local tech company complain the firm’s pole barn type building doesn’t fit in the residential feeling of the Walnut neighborhood and are against the tax exemption. The meeting is set for tonight at 7 p.m. at city hall.
